Last night was the Crested Butte Alley Loop Pub crawl in which Elk Avenue (a.k.a. Main Street Crested Butte) was shut down, covered in snow, and groomed for Nordic Skiers to ski from bar to bar completing challenges and enjoying a variety of adult beverages. As you might imagine, this unique event led to some interesting costumes and lots of fun had by all.
Lots of people were decked out in neon, skiing in jeans, as the cat in the hat, or wearing a sumo suit…
Yea, I’ve got my skis on in the bar, so what?
Crested Butte is a town that loves its costume parties.
Lots of smiling faces and happy people.
